Ingredients

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour and semolina. Add ghee and rub between your palms to make a crumbly mixture.
  2. Gradually add water and knead into a smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  3. In another pan, heat ghee and add mawa. Cook until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.
  4. Add sugar, cardamom powder, and chopped nuts to the cooked mawa. Mix well and let it cool.
  5. Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a small disc and place a spoonful of the mawa filling in the center.
  6. Seal the edges to form a ball again and flatten slightly. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
  7. Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry the kachoris on medium heat until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Drain on paper towels and let cool before serving. Enjoy your sweet treat!
